“While the balloon ride was great and Carlos the tour guide for the archeological site was awesome, there was a lot of other let downs. The shuttle service was very uncomfortable for the long trip, we didn't get to spend enough time at the archeological site and there was a prolonged stop in town where they showed off different alcohols and gems that wasn't mentioned in any description of the experience. It felt like this experience could be much more streamlined and I did not feel that I got my money's worth.”

The staff was professional, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable and safe throughout. The balloon ride was incredibly stable, and we were lucky enough to fly directly over the pyramids, which was absolutely breathtaking. “The balloon ride itself was pure magic! We had a great pilot that took us right over the temple of the sun. The entire ride was smooth sailing from takeoff through to landing. Much like other reviewers, the multiple stops during the day really did end up taking a toll on the mood of the entire group. Our trip coordinator didn't do a great job of communicating with the driver and he got lost a couple of times (I don't think this was his fault, btw - it was definitely because of poor communication between the coordinator and him). “Overpriced and very rude. You could just book a $35 Uber to the pyramids yourself and get better breakfast outside your hotel for like $10. I can’t comment on the balloon ride because it got cancelled for me because of the weather. I really don’t recommend this company for how they talked to me and how much self guided this was. I had to translate and explain a lot of the culture myself to other members of the group because they left us alone for breakfast and for the pyramid tour and the mini tour about the maguey plant which was not much of a tasting but like a sip…”
